The Design Thinking Ghana Conference 2020 (DTGC2020) is scheduled to take place virtually on Friday, 21st August 2020.

The Design Thinking Ghana Conference (DTGC) is Africa’s premier Design Thinking conference. The goal of the conference is to bring attention to Design Thinking as a strategic problem solving and innovation approach, provide a platform for presentations on the application of this methodology in industry and point the audience to ways in which they can be more successful if they apply the insights and knowledge from the conference.

The Design Thinking Ghana Hub will be hosting its annual premier and 5-Year Anniversary Design Thinking Ghana Conference (DTGC2020) online.

This year’s DTGC2020, has the theme “Building a DT Toolkit for Innovation in Times of Adversity”. The conference will provide an overview of design thinking workshop training in this new era and also share lessons and insights from the 8 weeks online toolkit training.

In addition to the guest speakers, the facilitators from the training program will share their experiences and lessons as they navigated Zoom breakout rooms to teach people the approach that has been found to make the most impact on collecting, understanding and analysing user needs in order to make competitive and strategic decisions in unusual circumstances such as during this pandemic.

The Toolkit Training program was a virtual training that leveraged on Zoom’s capabilities to mimic the in-person workshop setting which allowed us to take the participants through 8 different design thinking approaches from defining the problem to prototyping and testing for successful results.

The conference has two sessions thus Morning from 10 am- 12 pm and Afternoon from 2 pm -4 pm both sessions are via zoom. Registration is currently open and you can register here.
