Today is International Women’s Day. On this day, we want to highlight some women in the Ghanaian tech ecosystem who are making strides in building their startups and businesses in Ghana.
It will be hard to document every single woman we have in the Ghana tech ecosystem and so we sampled some notable women in tech, the companies they are currently involved in, and their roles.
We have a database at the bottom showing more women currently in the Ghana tech ecosystem.
Below are some of the women we’re highlighting in the Ghana tech ecosystem:
Ethel Cofie
Ethel Cofie is the CEO of Edelit Consult. The EDEL Technologies team has diverse experience in technology solutions delivery across the continent with projects delivered in Ghana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, and the UK.
Diana Osei
Diana Osei is the co-founder of BezoMoney, a digital savings platform for informal savings schemes, popularly known as “Susu”. The platform provides e-wallets for personal savings and group savings and gives users access to loans, insurance, investments, pensions, and installment purchase options.
Farida Bedwei
Farida Bedwei is the co-founder of Logiciel, an indigenous wholly-owned Ghanaian turnkey Technological Solutions Company, delivering cutting-edge software technology in areas including Banking & Finance, Mobile Monitoring & Tracking, and Electronic Data Processing.
Logiciel also specializes in innovative cloud-based systems for Financial Institutions in Ghana and Sub-Sahara Africa.
Ivy Barley
Ivy Barley is the founder of Developers In Vogue, a female developer program teaching females programming using project-oriented curriculum and access to mentorship and support.
She’s currently a program manager at Microsoft.
Miishe Addy
Miishe Addy is the founder and CEO of Jetstream Africa, a cross-border trade logistics technology company.
Miishe was a top-ranked strategy analyst at Bain & Company and consultant for global development organizations, including Global Partnerships and TechnoServe.
After founding her first startup, she moved to Ghana to serve as a business fellow for MEST Africa, where she saw firsthand the potential for technology to transform key bottlenecks in cross-border supply chains.
Regina Honu
Regina Honu is the founder of Soronko Academy, an ICT academy that teaches technical coding and ICT Skills and soft skills such as entrepreneurship, leadership, and networking.
Winifred Kotin
Winifred Kotin is the co-founder of Superfluid Labs, a data analytics and artificial intelligence company that unlocks economic opportunities for businesses’ growth.

Leticia Browne
Leticia Browne is the co-director of Intelligent Capital, an entrepreneurship development organization founded with the belief that aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs need more than just financial capital to launch and scale their businesses.
Akosua Annobil
Akosua Annobil is the founder of Africa Business 2020, a media platform that promotes and connects Africa business, investment and tech community, with focus on Ghana and the early stage ecosystem.
Charmaine Hayden
Charmaine Hayden is a Venture Capital Partner at GoodSoil VC, a venture capital firm that partners with founders to build global, market-defying companies. The firm currently invests In BezoMoney, ZeePay, and Zuberi.
Estelle Akofio-Sowah
