Snapchat has announced that it is rolling out its AI chatbot called “My AI” to all its users for free. My AI was previously only available to Snapchat+ subscribers.
About My AI
My AI is powered by OpenAI and Snapchat has been working with OpenAI to train My AI on millions of conversations from Snapchat users, as well as data from the Snap Map and Lens Studio. The result is a chatbot that can understand natural language, generate relevant and creative responses, and adapt to different contexts and ages.

Evan Spiegel, the CEO of Snapchat, said in a statement: “We believe that My AI can help our community discover new things, express themselves, and connect with others in a meaningful way. We also hope that My AI can inspire more people to explore the possibilities of artificial intelligence and how it can improve our lives.”
How To Use My AI
To start chatting with My AI, you just need to update your Snapchat app and tap on the chat icon on the bottom left corner. You will see a new option to create a chat with My AI, where you can choose its name and appearance from thousands of Bitmoji options.
You can also invite My AI to join your group chats by mentioning it and asking questions. For example, you can ask My AI to suggest a place to hang out with your friends, or to recommend a lens that matches your mood.
