Spotify, the audio streaming platform, has increased the price of its “Premium Individual” service for users in Ghana.

The premium service allows users to listen to Spotify without any advertising interruptions.

In an email to users, Spotify stated that the price of “Premium Individual” is changing from GHS 17.00 per month to GHS 22.00 per month.

“We’re increasing the price of Premium Individual so that we can continue to invest in and innovate on our product offerings and features, and bring you the best experience.” according to the email to subscribers.

It’s been reported that Spotify is working on adding new features to its service for international markets including Audiobooks and a HiFi lossless streaming feature for improved audio quality on its upcoming “Supremium” plan.
