In 2024, we were very busy with our content and our website. This is what we achieved in 2024 and what we want to do in 2025.

Web Traffic in 2024

  • In 2024, we achieved an average of 8,000 unique visitors every month.
  • Most of our traffic came from the United States, Ghana, and the United Kingdom.
  • We had more than 83,000 unique visitors in 2024.
  • Our most-read articles included Kenya’s new Digital ID and Ghana Bank of Ghana suspending Wise and other remittance platforms

Our Published Articles

  • We published more than 1000+ articles in 2024
  • Most of our articles focused on “News” and “Features

New Launches

  • This year we launched our “Data Points” section which focuses on data storytelling and visualisations
  • We also launched our separate data platform “Labari Insights“, a data repository that houses data including tech startups in various countries like Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya.
  • We also started our YouTube channel with videos focused on EVs and more.

Podcasts

  • This year, we launched Season 3 of our “What’s Your Story podcast, which featured six episodes.
  • For our Labari Media Podcast, we published 17 episodes. Each episode averaged 30 minutes, which is estimated to be about 510 minutes (~8 hours, 30 minutes)

In 2025, we’ll be focusing on our newsletter, data insights, and AI-summarised news stories.
