Botswana Officials Meet With SpaceX To Extend Starlink Connectivity

Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi has reportedly met with executives from SpaceX’s Starlink unit. Starlink has expressed an interest in obtaining a license to operate in the country.

Masisi held a meeting with Starlink’s company’s director of global licensing and activation while in the US for a business summit.

Weeks ago, Starlink sent emails to customers about the unauthorised use of its services in countries where it hasn’t yet been licensed to operate.

Starlink is currently operating in seven African countries with Ghana being its 8th country pending activation.
