This week, Vodafone Ghana launched a new product dubbed “Vodafone One“. It’s a product which combines fixed voice, broadband, mobile voice and data all in one package. The Vodafone One target audience seems to be aimed at families and home office users who have multiple devices and are frequent users of the network.
According to Vodafone, the Vodafone One package will also leverage HD voice capability which they have rolled out on their Super network.
“What we have done is in direct response to the specific needs of our customers, said Patricia Obo-Nai, Director of Fixed Business and Customer Operations at Vodafone.
“This comes at a great time as we continue to roll out fibre across the country, delivering speeds of up to 10-times faster than any in the market.”

The Vodafone One package looks pretty cool. It’s high time most of these telecom companies start creating all in one packages for most of their services. Vodafone appears to have taken the first step.
The next step I would love to see is packages for mobile devices. A package where I can buy a specified number of airtime minutes, data bundle and text messages would be something would be nice to see as standard instead of a side promotion.
Until then, we might as well roll with Vodafone’s “One” package.
