Zeepay, the Ghanaian fintech company which provides integrated mobile payments services, took the top award of Startup Of the Year at the 2017 Premium Bank Ghana Startup Awards held yesterday evening at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra.
The Ghana Startups Awards is an annual award ceremony that celebrates ambitious and indigenous start-up businesses that are making impact, contributing to economic growth, meeting social needs and putting Ghana on the global economic map.
This year’s award nominees featured the likes of 57 Chocolate, Asoriba, ExpressPay, Glitz Africa and Creo Concepts.

Food for All Ghana Program is a food recovery organization that creates sustainable means of nutrition for the vulnerable in Africa through food banking, farming and an efficient forum for stakeholders within the food supply chain.

Dough Man Foods is a food startup company which sells American-style doughnuts in Ghana.

ExpressPay is an eCommerce market place and a payment gateway provider which gives consumers real-time access to services such as airtime for all the major telcos, Surfline, Vodafone broadband, DSTV and GOtv.

Wear Ghana is a startup that makes men and women’s evening, formal, casual and street wear and recently, bridal wear.
They incorporate African prints in each of their designs in line with their passion for African fashion.
