The Ghana Fintech Awards has officially opened nominations for its 2024 edition, an event poised to celebrate the nation’s fintech trailblazers.

Scheduled for March 1, 2025, at the Labadi Beach Hotel, the 4th edition will spotlight the industry’s most impactful innovators who are accelerating Ghana’s economic growth and financial inclusion.

The nomination period is open from October 25 to November 25, 2024. Individuals and companies are encouraged to nominate deserving candidates via the official website, www.ghanafintechawards.org, where detailed information on categories and submission guidelines is also available.

At the press launch, Cristina Swan-Awagah, Project Coordinator for the Ghana Fintech Awards, shared insights into the event’s mission to accelerate Ghana’s journey toward economic growth and financial inclusion by spotlighting innovative fintech players.

Cristina highlighted the essential role of fintechs in promoting financial accessibility and digital adoption in the country. She explained that the awards underscore the ability of fintechs to integrate smoothly into various industries, ultimately enhancing the convenience of financial transactions across e-commerce platforms and digital services.
